Hi! I’m Annette, your portrait photographer serving the High Desert and Southern California. I want to share my love of storytelling with you while creating wall art for your home. Whether you want odd and eerie or a magical forest theme, I’m your gal. Each photo session begins with printing in mind. I’m a print artist; you won’t only get digitals with me. Nothing is more fulfilling than walking past a photo of yourself displayed in your own home.

Adventures in Storybook Land
Portraits should spark whimsy and magic. I want to capture the magic that lingers inside you. When you see your portrait hung in your home, it's not just a picture—it's a memory. Studies show that photos displayed in the home, can boost children's self-confidence and give them a sense of belonging. Allow your child to wear that silly hat during their session. The day will come when they won’t want it anymore.
The Darker Side
Everyone has an inner dark side. Whether you want to show off the strange and unusual or reveal something twisted and sprinkle it with humor. Let’s explore this side of you and create something surreal. You bring the gas mask, and I’ll bring the camera. A photo book is a perfect option for displaying taboo portraits.
Fantasy Land
Your session is truly what you decide to make of it. Embrace your joy and eccentricity by choosing props and fun clothing while dancing (or sitting) in a beautiful location. We’ll share laughs while adding a little whimsy to your images. Boring is for work and school, let’s turn your world upside down!
The Portrait Session Process
Consultation
We’ll start with a quick 20-minute phone call to discuss what you want out of your session. The who, where, and why. If we are a fit, I will also meet with you in person if you’d like. I can help you choose your wall art, print sizes, photo albums, and more.
Your Session
I’ll arrive early to scope out the location and set up. I will guide and pose you throughout your entire session. Don’t know what to do with your hands? I got you. We’ll share some laughs. Portraits are fun and should not feel stuffy. It’s YOUR day to shine! Afterward, I’ll edit your photos within 2-3 weeks.
The End, sorta
Reveal Day
Fall in love with your story all over again! You’ll decide on which images you want printed. And, around 2-3 weeks after that, I’ll hand-deliver your wall art and photo books to you. This is the best part! I love seeing the joy on every client’s face.
